Nepal is the land of the great Himalayas which includes Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, the fabled Yeti, and home of the legendary Gurkha soldiers.  The country is blessed with awe-inspiring scenery and natural beauty. The people of this beautiful country are called Nepali or Nepalese.

There is a large expat Nepali community in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe - many of whom are ex-servicemen - while others have come to UK as students and decided to remain here to contribute to the prosperity of the UK and Europe. The Nepalese living in the UK, have held a lifelong ambition to build a Nepali Village in UK - where anyone can go on holidays or take short breaks to enjoy the countryside.

Our vision is to establish a recreational and educational centre to be known as Nepali Village UK (NVUK) in Mid Wales. A place where families can visit and spend time away in a quiet and peaceful environment - whilst being able to learn about the local and Nepali culture and traditions and experience a taste of a rural Nepali Village.
